Electronics Service Technician
Dockendorf Equipment, a local leader in petroleum equipment, is looking for a skilled Electronics Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This is a field-based position that requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct diagnostic tests using tools such as a voltmeter and ohmmeter to identify issues and troubleshoot problems.
- Utilize hand tools and computer networking knowledge to maintain and repair computer hardware and low-voltage systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to service requests and communicating effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including parts used and work completed. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience as a service technician or in a related field.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and computer networking knowledge.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
- Familiarity with computer hardware and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
